Image, the DoghouseSuffolk dog, has been invited to take part in the Pedigree Joint Care+ six Week Trial.
Joint Care+ claim that they are proven to target the causes of joint stiffness, with 72% of dogs who are fed a stick daily experiencing a higher level of mobility within just six weeks!
Each Pedigree Joint Care+ stick is free from artificial colours and flavours and is low in fat. By agreeing to take part in the trail, Image was sent six weeks worth of Joint Care+ stick and a bag of other goodies, including a video camera so that we can record his progress.
So, over the next six weeks we will be recording a number of short movies to show Image’s progress and to find out if Pedigree Joint Care + has improved his movement in any way.
Our videos will show all the things that image enjoys doing, so that you will clearly be able to see if Joint Care+ has made a difference to his mobility.
Joint Care+ Six week trial – part 1
Day 7
Image has now been enjoying a Pedigree Joint Care+ stick everyday for the last seven days. Today Image went to the dog groomers for his Summer hair cut. As Image has to have a low fat diet, and he doesn’t really like having his hair cut, we took a joint Care+ stick cut up into pieces as a special treat.
Image loved his new grooming treats, plus he got all the benefits of Joint care+
So far Image seems to be enjoying the sticks, however it is still a little early to tell if they are making a difference to his mobility. Now he has had his hair cut it will be easier to see how well he is moving.

Day 21
Image has now been having a joint Care+ stick everyday for 3 week and already we have noticed a change in his mobility. He has become more active and is wanting to play more. When we were first asked to take part in the Joint Care+ Trial, I have to admit we were a little skeptical, we have tried other joint aid treatments in the past and not noticed any difference in Image. But Joint care+ seem to be making a difference, as you can see from the video, Image is now enjoying playing in the garden again and has started to bring his ball to you when he wants a game – something he hasn’t done in about a year.
Pedigree say that it takes 6 weeks to see a real difference, so we are looking forward to the next 3 weeks to see just how much of a difference Joint Care can make!
