WIN TICKETS – Robin Hood Game & Country Show – 6th & 7th October 2012

If you’re looking for a family day-out which is both dog friendly and great fun for everyone, then the Robin Hood Game and Country Shows have a stack of live entertainment, interactive have-a-go activities, educational attractions and much more! As well as Jousting Tournaments, BMX stunt shows and Falconry displays, the event also has an enormous All About Dogs zone; bring your pooch along and spend the day making a splash, dashing through an agility course or winning the Fun Dog Show trophy.

The All About Dogs zone has plenty of fun and games set-up to keep your hound amused, as well as testing its endurance and skill. Try your hand at Flyball, a fast-paced relay race where dogs must use their initiative to access the ball at the end; or Dock Dogs, a long jump style event where your dog plunges into an enormous pool of water. Other events involve dog agility courses, gundog scurries, Aces Lure Racing and many more fun and exciting activities.

Perhaps the biggest highlight for visitors is the Fun Dog Show, with classes including ‘Waggiest Tail’ or ‘Most like their owner’ everyone is encouraged to take part and enter with hopes of taking home a rosette or the All About Dogs ‘Best in Show’ trophy. £1.50 for the first class entered and £1.00 for any other classes entered (this is per dog)
Registration for the fun dog show will take place between 10:00am (show opening) until 12:30pm prompt. Show will start at 1pm.

With the All About Dogs Show described in the past as ‘Disneyland for Dogs’ this amusement park will be stacked with exciting have-a-go attractions, informative dog training and behavioral demos, high-speed arena shows featuring DTCE security dogs or NOBBS gun dogs, entertainment and hundreds of shopping stalls, breed stands, charity and awareness tents.

The All About Dogs Show is a great opportunity to socialise your puppy with other dogs, meet like-minded people, breeders and learn about rare breeds, or just have a great day out filled with wagging tails and slobber!
